Jollin is a writer who feels most comfortable with confessional poetry, although she constantly pushes her own limits and the perimeters of her writing -- whether with prose or simply a different style of poetry.
Her first two poetry collections, Bursting Seams and Derivative Faith, are published by Math Paper Press. They open conversations about body image and faith in its many iterations, and much of her writing follows in the same manner and deals in the immensely personal. She has performed her poetry in multiple spoken word events.
Jollin’s work can also be found in anthologies such as Body Boundaries, SingPoWriMo The Anthology, Balik Kampung 3B: Some East, More West, and Epigram Books Collection of Best New Singaporean Short Stories V.3. Her poetry has also been curated for Prairie Schooner and Singapore Writer’s Festival.
